Is your site secure?

Buyfabrics.com uses the latest 128-bit SSL encryption to protect all communication with our server. Our encryption signature is verified by Verisign and you may view our secure certificate by clicking the lock icon on the bottom of this browser window at any time.

What is your return policy?

We want you to be satisfied. If your purchase does not meet your expectations for any reason, simply contact us by email or phone within 30 days of purchase for a return authorization and shipping information. (Please note that we do not accept returns for custom, Special Orders; Please see note below). Our toll-free number is 251-968-7797. All return products must be in their original condition-uncut, unwashed, undyed, etc. Returns sent COD or Collect will not be accepted.

We do not offer returns for Special Orders. Special Orders are custom orders and do not include general internet orders. Special Orders are placed in-store or via phone for specific, name-brand items that are either not in stock or not available on our website. All Special Order sales are final. If you are unsure about the color or texture of a name-brand fabric not listed on our website, please refer to the fabric manufacturer's sample books. Free shipping is not available for Special Orders. If you have questions about our Special Order return policy, please contact us.

Do you ensure the highest quality product and availability on every order?

Although we cannot guarantee every product's availability, we work very hard to exceed your expectations on every order. Every product is meticulously inspected for defects prior to shipping.

Am I ensured receipt of every item on my order?

It is important to us to ship you a complete order, and that's why we keep a running account of our inventory. In the unlikely event that our inventory is in error and we cannot ship a complete order, we will contact you for instructions prior to shipping. We do not charge your credit card until your order is ready to ship. We do NOT guarantee product availability or quantity.

Will my fabric be shipped in one continuous piece?

We make every effort to ship your fabric in one piece. However, yardage is limited by bolt size. Most fabrics we carry generally come to us in 30-yard bolts and are then sold down. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that we will have the yardage you desire in one continuous piece. If we cannot provide the fabric in one continuous piece, we will contact you for instructions before processing your order.

How do I place an order?

1. Products are shown as thumbnails. Click the thumbnail to view the product details and a full-sized image of the product.

2. In the text field provided, enter the desired amount of the product you selected. Submit this amount by clicking the icon labeled “ADD.” If you desire, you can change the amount once it has been submitted by entering the new amount and clicking the icon labeled “UPDATE.” Remove the item from your cart entirely by clicking the icon labeled “REMOVE.”

3. Close the window to continue shopping. Your items will remain in your cart, and the total number of items that are in your cart will be displayed in the top navigation bar. You can view your cart by clicking “View Cart” in the top navigation bar.

4. The View Cart page displays the items currently in your cart, and allows you to update or remove items.

5. To checkout, simply click “Checkout” in the top navigation bar. You will be prompted to enter your email address. If you are a new shopper, you will be prompted to fill out your billing and shipping information. When this is completed, you will be prompted to fill out your credit card information. To finalize your order, click the “Purchase Now” button. An order confirmation page will be displayed as well as an order number. We request that you print your receipt and retain your order number as these items will be required to track your order.

Your credit card is not charged until your order is ready to ship, allowing us to contact you in the unlikely event that your order cannot be shipped as specified.

Can more than one coupon code be used during checkout?
Only one coupon code can be used per order. For example, the coupon code used for free shipping, FREESHIP150, cannot be combined with any other coupon codes. Please keep this in mind when choosing a coupon code to use during checkout.

What are my options for payment?

We accept all major credit cards. We also are willing to work with you on other forms of payment if you call us prior to placing your order.

Why do you need my email address when I place my order?

We use your email address to send your order verification and to address any other issues. We will never sell or rent your email address or any of your other personal information. All of your information is strictly private and we use it only to serve you.

Do you have a product catalogue in print?

No, at this time we do not have a printed catalogue available.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction is extremely important to us. Each piece of fabric is inspected for defects before shipment to ensure its quality. If your purchase does not meet your expectations, please feel free to return your unaltered order within 30 days of the original ship date. (We do not offer returns on Custom or Special Orders. Please see note below.)  ALL RETURNS OF FABRIC CUTS OF THREE YARDS OR LESS ARE SUBJECT TO A 40% RESTOCKING FEE. ALL OTHER RETURNS ARE SUBJECT TO A 15% RESTOCKING FEE. We encourage all customers to purchase a swatch before ordering yardage.

Refunds cover the original purchase price, less the shipping costs for both the purchase and the return. We do not refund shipping charges. If the return is a result of an error on our part, the customer is exempt from paying the original and return shipping costs. The item returned must be in its original condition (uncut, unwashed, undyed, etc.) in order for us to accept and process your return.

To return an item, follow the instructions listed below.

• All returns must reach our warehouse within 30 days of the original ship date.
• All fabric and trim must be returned in its original condition (ie uncut, unwashed, etc.)
• Any packaged item must be returned in its original packaging.
• Unless due to our error, return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
• It is very important that you record your shipping number so the package can be tracked during transit. We are not responsible for returned products that we do not receive.
• Original shipping will be deducted from your refund if an order that received free original shipping is returned.
• Package your items as they were packaged when you received them. Include a copy of the receipt that you printed when you finalized your order. If you are returning one item from a multiple-item order, you may mail us a copy and retain the original for your records.
• If a portion of a free shipping order is returned, only the original shipping for the portion will be deducted from your refund if the remaining (kept) portion of the order would have still been eligible for free shipping. If the returned portion causes the remaining portion of the original order to be unqualified for free shipping, the full original shipping will be deducted from your refund.
• A copy of your original order or receipt must be included in the return package. Please include the reason you are returning the fabric so that we can better serve you in the future.
• Mail us the package, and when we receive and process the return, we will credit your card with the original purchase price, minus the 15% restocking fee and the cost of shipping both ways, if applicable.
